walking and talking!

Hello again! Today I read to pages 157 to 163.

Cimorene and the stone prince were walking to the service room. The stone prince was telling Cimorene about how alot of kings want him to go on their side to fight their enemies. He found that choosing a king to help was too hard so he decided not to choose any of them and he ran away. Later he found a castle and he went to the castle to see if he could help the king who lived there. He found out the king was sick and the only way he could be cured was to get some healing water from the cave of fire and night. When he got to the cave, he went to the healing water room. The special school he went to told him not to use the gold cup but use the tin cup otherwise he would be turned into a stone slab. He thought it wouldn't hurt just to touch the cup and when he touched it he began to stiffen. When he realized he was turning to a stone slab he quickly stuck his arm into the healing water spring which stopped him from becoming a stone slab.

Cimorene was facinated with his story.

Soon they came to a place where the roof was low. Cimorene told the prince to duck and they were able to enter the service room. Cimorene told him what to do if someone came into the room. Then she left to go to Roxim's cave.
