Alot of stuff happens

Hello! I like this blog thing! I raed up to page 88. Here is my blog:

Mendanbar drew his sword out of his sheath and pulled at the power within it. The nightshade went to scratch Mendanbar but missed and hit the sword becuase the nightshade just got bruised. While Mendanbar kept pulling at the power within the sword and was fighting the nightshade, Cimorene poured a bucket of soapy-lemon water at Antorell (Antorell is Zemenar the wizard's son). Mendanbar shouted Cimorene that she'll be sorry and he'll come back in a few days. Mendanbar pulled at the power within the sword again and when the nightshade was in mid-leap, Mendanbar shot the magic at the nightshade and the nightshade froze in the air and he disapeared and didn't come back.

Mendanbar asked why did Antorell get away. Cimorene said Antorell didn't get away, he melted but he would be back in a few days. Mendanbar said he thought that only happened with witches and Cimorene said Morwen was a witch and she cleaned her house with soapy-lemon water and didn't melt. Cimorene picked up Antorells robes and staff and hid them in her closet. Mendanbar asked why she was doing this and she said when Antorelle came back he wouldn't have his staff.

Then Cimorene said now she knew why she shouldn't go through the Enchanted Forest alone. Mendanbar asked if she had changed her mind about going with her to find Kazul. She said she didn't know yet, but maybe. Then Cimorene mentioned to Mendanbar about his sword and how is was special. Mendanbar told her he didn't think is was that special but Cimorene pointed out how it just "reeked" of magic. Mendanbar didn't seem to notice the magic at all.

When Cimorene was done with the dishes, she went into the treasury room becuase there might be something in her treasury that might take care of all the magic.

How exicting! I think Mendanbar likes Cimorene because I forgot to mention that Mendanbar looked at Cimorene and saw a tinkle in her eye. Come back for tomorrow's blog!

Uhhhh......

Hello! Want to hear more about Cimorene and Mendanbar? If you do, then listen closely,OK? Well I read up to page 81.
Mendanbar asked if she was going alone on the "scary" journey. Cimorene said that she was going alone through to the top of the mounton, ifshe was not there,Cimorene stop by the Enchanted Forest. Mendanbar said that you can't go alone through Enchanted Forest because it is dangerous ad things that might Enchant you. Cimorene sighed and said that he had a point. Then she said that all of the dragons are busy and no princesses would want to come. While she was thinking, she just suddenly said that if the king was missing, she didn't care what happened to her she just wanted to find her. Mendanbar suddenly out of no where said how about I go with you. Cimorene started to laugh. Mendanbar looked at her and snapped it is not funny. Then Cimorene said that it isn't funny it was the way you said it. ( I don't get it. Not funny. ) Suddenly Cimorene heard something. "Shh" she hissed. "Do you hear that?" Mendanbar listened. Then he heard something. He saw Cimorene sitting next to the door with a pail of soapy water. He srated to go next to her. Then she went inside the dark hallway. She heard it again. Cimorene said a spell and then lights came on. They both saw Antoeell the wizard. ( Zemenar's little brother. ) He did not see Mendanbar. The wizard told Cimorene that there was going to a war against Mendanbar and the dragons. Mendanbar stepped up and said that there was no war going to happen. Antorell got mad and did a spell to made a giant thing appear...
What happens next? I actually don't know. Come back for tomorrow's blog!

The Meeting

Good morning! I hope you are ready for an exciting update! I read pages 69-74. Cimmeron tells Mendanbar that she doesn't know where Kazul was. Mendanbar explained that he needed to know where she went and what she was doing, telling her that it was important. Cimmeron decides to tell him, and shares that Kazul went to visit her grandchildren on the northern part of the mountain. Mendanbar started to say something, but then said, "Grandchildren?" because he was surprised to find out that the King had grandchildren. Cimmeron tells him that she was surprised when she found out as well. She explains that Kazul usually only stays away for a couple of days and that she usually sent word back to her, but that she had not this trip. She also tells him that Kazul had told her that she was also going to stop by the Enchanted Forest. She thinks for a moment and added that Kazul had only been gone for a day, so she would not be in the Enchanted Forest yet. Mendanbar asks Cimmeron if Kazul was going there to see him. Cimero tells him that she was not, that she was actually going there to check out the patch of Dragon Bane. Mendanbar suddenly said, "So that's what happened!" Cimmeron askes him to explain, and he tells her that when he was walking he found a patch that had looked like it had been burned. He also tells her that there were 5 dragon scales there, and Morwren had asked him to find out whose they were. Cimmeron said to take out the scales, and he did. Cimeron studied them for a minute and then told him that she knew whose they were, but added that he could not find him. Mendanbar asked why, and Cimero explained that the owner had turned into a frog because he was not acting like a dragon. Then she said that (and this part's funny) she thought he had been eaten by a snake! (See? isn't that funny?) Cimmeron then tells him that they should go out looking for the king~ Well, that's it for today! Be sure to come back tomorrow to find out if they go out on a journey together!

What do I call it?!

Hello! I read up to page 68. Here is my blog:
Cimorene just answered the door and asked what he wanted. Mendanbar said that he wanted to talk to the king, Kazul. Cimorene said that Kazul was not in right now. Suddenly when Cimorene saw him fully, she started to complain to herself about " There is another prince here to save me!" Cimorene said that if you are here to asked Kazul if you can save me, then you're not going to because I don't want to be rescued. Mendanbar said that he was not here to save her, he was here to tell Kazul something urgent. Then he told Cimorene that he was the King of the Enchanted Forest. Cimorene Looked at him then said come in and sit down. Mendanabr followed Cimorene inside and sat down. Cimorne asked if he would like some cider. Suddenly Mendanbar remembered that he was supposed to bring the jug of cider for Kazul. He told Cimornee that he will send someone out here with the jug of cider later. Cimorene asked if it's ok to if Menedanbar drinks the cider out of a wine cup. He said ok and he'll fix it. Mendanbar used his sword to unclog it. Cimorene said thanks. Mendanbar said to Cimorene he just came back from cleaning up the mess Zemenar made in his castle. Cimorene stopped washing the dishes and thought about Zemenar. Mendanbar ( after she was done thinking ) asked when Kazul was coming home. She Confessed that she did not know because Kazul said she would be home two days ago.

are you getting interested? Me, too. Well come back for tomorrow's blog!

Birthday Salutations and What Happened Next!

First, let me say Happy Birthday to you! I hope that your birthday night was special. As for what happened next, here goes. Zemenar left Mendanbar. Then Mendanbar got his sword and put it through the middle of the tangled up magic that Zemenar had done with his staff. While Mendanbar was untagling it, Willian came in and was asking him so many questions that Mendanbar had to tell him to be quiet for a few minutes so that he could finish and then they could talk. Mendanbar got finished untangling the magic and then was telling WIllian what he was doing and answered all of his questions. Then he told Willian that he was going to take a trip to the King of the Mountains of Morning. Willian explained that he would need to plan it, and that it would take a long time to do that. Mendanbar told him that there was no need for planning, that his calendar was empty, and that he was going right then. Then he gave Willian the key to the castle and told him not to let any wizards in until he returned. With that said, he left on his journey. While he was got there, he stopped and noticed that that although there was green grass on his side, the grass in the Mountains of Morning was dead. Mendanbar walked over the line and continued on. Soon he found that there were no trees, which was nice because he could see the sky. He finally gets to a giant cave. In the wall of the cave, there was a lever and a sign that said, "Welcome to the Cave of the Mountains of Morning. Pull this lever to ring the door bell." He pulled it, and then he heard a voice. Suddenly a girl showed up and was surprised to see a prince ... or so she thought a prince. What happens next? Do they fall in love? Do they realize that they both want, or don't want the same things? Who knows! You will, if you come back tomorrow. Happy Birthday.

No clue of what to call this blog

Hello! Sorry I got to you so late. Went to bed at 3:00 in the morning because I was at the airport greeting my friends who adopted a baby from China. Here is my blog. It maybe short. Oh yeah I read up to page 54.

Mendanbar was talking to Zemenar about how the dragons wouldn't let the wizards back into the Castle of Fire and Light because they knew the wizards would steal the magic and treasures in the castle. Mendanbar tells Zemenar that he doesn't know if he can help because he doesn't know how or if he can help him. Zemenar explains that the wizards need his to get into the caves. Mendenbar tells him again that it will be impossible for him to help, explaining that he has problems with the dragons of his own that he has to take care of. Zimenar does not give up easily, and tells Mendanbar that he will give him anything and do anything for him if only he will help, but Mendanbar refuses.

Zemenar then begins to talk with him about King Kazul (Yes, Kazul is a girl, but they can only have a king in the Enchanted Forest!) and her princess Cimmerone, telling him that Cimerone is the trouble maker that has been keeping the wizards out of the caves. Mendenbar is surprised to hear that King Kazul has a princess. It disturbs him because he know that he will run in to her when he goes there, and he does not want to get married. Zimenar leaves, and Mendenbar goes to the armoy to get a sword so that he can go to the castle and deal with his problems.

Well, it is getting exciting! Check back tomorrow to find out what happens next! Did I say that this was going to be short?

A Wizard Pays A Visit

Hi. How you doing? Well I read up to page 50.
Mendanbar walks home and gives Willin the two bottles of cider and tells him to put them in the kitchen. Before Willin went to put them in the kitchen, he told Mendanbar we have an unexpected visitor in the audience chamber. Mendanbar asks who it is and Willin says it's Zemaner. Willin goes to put the bottles away in the kitchen while Mendanbar goes in to the library and the gargole begins to complains about the soap and water. Then Mendanbar grabs a few threads of magic. He went into the chamber and greeted Zemaner with a polite bow. Zemaner asks if Mendanbar could help with a few things. Mendanbar told him he could only do a few things. The head wizard says that he needs help with some dragon buisiness (but not like the dragon do-do buisiness). Mendanbar asks what kind of help he needed with the dragons. Suddenly Mendanbar's magic threads started to move towards Zemaners staff but Mendanbar pulled them back. Zemaner said that the dragons had forbidden the wizards to go into the cave of Fire and Night. Mendanbar says he can not help with that. Zemaner explains how he could help. Again, Mendanbar's magic began to move into Zemaner's staff but Mendanbar pulls it back. After a few minutes, his magics pulls again and Mendanbar says it feel like someone is sucking it away and pulls it back again.

That's it for today. Check in again tomarrow.

UHHHHHHH don't know what to call it.

Hi! I read to page 41. That is 4 pages. My mom said that I had to stop there because it was the end of the chapter. Here is my blog:
Mendanbar was talking to Morwen and drinking cider. They where talking about going to Kazul's castle. Mendanbar asked Morwen if he had to go and Morwen said yes if you want to know who these scales belong to. Mendanbar toke a long and big drink of his cider. Morwen gave Mendanbar two full jugs of cider to take on the trip to Kazul's castle. Mendanbar started to walk away when he turned and asked if dragons eat magic. Morwen said that she thinks they don't. She went to the back door and opened it. When she opened it, Mendanabr didn't see the backyard he saw a room with large bookcases in it. Morwen walked in and grabbed a book that was red with gold letters that said, "The Patient Dragon." She brought it out and looked through the page and stopped where it told about dragons. Morwen told Mendanbar that dragons do not eat magic and asked why he thought that. Mendanbar said because when he got to the dry patch there was no magic.

And that is the end of the chapter. That's all so ta for now.

Scales

Hello! I read up to page 37. ( I am tired and not typing much this time. )
Mendanbar waited at the front door for someone to answer. When someone finally answer, Mendanbar asked If this was Morwen's house. The lady said yes and asked what do you want. Mendanbar explained how the squirrel had told him to go to her and ask her about the forest. Morwen said to come in,sit, and tell her what you mean. So Mendanbar went inside, sat down, and explained the burned patch, the squirrel, and that stuff. Morwen asked if he picked up the scales he had found. He said yes and gave them to her. Morwen examined them then put some magic In a jar and said a spell. Suddenly the scales started to turn green. After that happened, Morwen said that they came from one dragon not two or three. Mendanbar was glad that it was only one dragon. Morwen asked if he wanted some cider. He said yes and started to think. Morwen gave him his cider and he drank it while he thank about the patch and dragons. Morwen knew what he was thinking. Mendanbar said that the cider was good and Morwen said that you can take some with you when you go to Kazul's. Mendanbar asked who is that and Morwen said that is the king of the dragons. Mendabar said to Morwen who do you know I am going to go there. Morwen said that if you want ot know whos these scales belong to then you have to go there.
How excited! Kazul is back In the story! Find out what happens in the next blog! Bye!

Still Walking

Hello! It was nice to see you at my game! ?( We won and Jorden got hurt. ) OK back t the blog thing. I read to page 28. Here is my blog.
We left off at the squirrel telling Mendanbar who is Morwen. The squirrel told Mendanbar where to find her. So they said their good-byes and Mendanbar set off to Morwen's. While he was walking down the path by a stream, he was thinking about if someone gives you directions do you follow them when he heard a BIG growl! Mendanbar started to look around to see what that growl was. Suddenly he sees a lion coming start for him! Mendanbar was trying to get a piece a magic to freeze him but he could still talk. The lion jumped over Mendanbar and then tying again. When the lion jumped again, Mendanbar froze the lion. All of a sudden, the lion started to say something. Mendanbar could hear what he was saying. He was saying to let him down and don't leave him in the air. Menadbar explained to him that he was the human king of the Enchanted Forest. The lion said sorry and asked if he could get down. Mendanbar said yes. The lion said that he was the guarder of the pond of gold. Mendanbar talked to the lion then asked where was Morwen's house. The lion told him and Mendanbar lefted. When Mendanbar got there, He was going to go around but he decided to got to the front door...

Tuesday, May 8, 2007

Hi! Ready to hear a new blog today? I assume that is a yes. Well first I read up to page 20 and now here is my blog:
When we left, Mendanbar just escaped from that princess and was going to see if she was fight. He was walking along when he stopped at a big circle shaped patch of burned grass and stumps of trees. Mendanbar stared at the patch and then saw a shinny plate-like thing lying next to the stump he was staring at. He went over to the plat-like thing and picked it up. when Mendanbar picked it up, he realized that it was a dragon's scale. He saw a few more and so he put them in his pocket. As he walked along the patch, he talked to himself about dragons bothering him and him not bothering them. When he came back to the edge that stared to have grass again, he had an idea. His idea was to use magic to put back the grass so that some magic could say there and keep intruders out. Mendanbar was going back on his walk when he heard something talk to him. He looked up and saw a squirrel asking him if he was leaving. Mendanbar asked him if he saw who did that to that piece of land. The squirrel said that if he did, that he would have give them a piece of his mind. Mendanbar asked where could he find out who did that to that piece of land. The squirrel said go to Morwen. Mendanbar asked who is that.

A Walk In The Forest

Hello again. This blog is going to be sort of short today. I read up to page 14. When we last talked King Mendenbar had just left his castle to go for a walk. As the king of The Enchanted Forest, King Mendenbar can feel the magic of the forest and can use it, too. As he is walking he thinks about using the magic to get to the place he has decided to go to, the green glass pool, but decides that he wants to walk instead. He tries to get to the pool, but he realizes that the forest is shifting the pools location so that it is always just behind him. Finally, he dicides to use the magic of the forest and makes himself appear at the edge of the pool. There he finds a princess who tells him that she has been kicked out of her house by her wicked stepmother and that she is all alone. The princess tells him that she is tired form crossing the wastelands outside of the forest. King Mendenbar tells her that there are no wastelands, and she tells him to check for himself. Worried that she is tricking him into helping her, which princesses always do, King Mendenbar takes this opportunity to leave as quickly as he can. The princess looks for him, but does not see him hiding behind a tree. Do you wonder who this princess is? I do, too! Check back tomorrow to find out what happens next, and please leave some comments for me!

The starting of a new book

Ello! Ready to hear another great book? I read from page 1 to page 5.

The second book in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles is called Searching for Dragons and it introduces us to new characers right away. On page one we meet the human king of the Enchanted Forest, Mendanbar, who is talking with his helper, and elf named WIllan, in the throan room of his castle. Willan is telling his King that he must get married and is suggesting young girls that might be acceptable. King Mendanbar wants nothing to do with marriage and makes that clear right away. (Sound like someone else we know?) Anyway, the King gets annoyed at his helper's pushiness, waits for him to leave for a minute, and then escapes to go for a walk in the forest. Come back Wednesday to find out what happens next.

The ending of the book!

Hello! I am so excited! I finished the book. I read from page 206 to 212. Here is the ending of the book: Cimorene was worried that Kazul didn't need a princess anymore. Kazul said that she had a room just for her at the castle. Cimorene was surprised that Kazul meant that. Kazul and Cimorene went to sleep early because they had to move to the big castle in the morning. In the morning, Cimorene, Kazul, and her servants helped pack up and move the boxes to the castle. After Cimorene went to Alainora's cave to say good-bye because Alainora and the stone prince were going to get married. Cimorene walked them to the iron gate and the stone prince and Alainora left together. Cimorene went back to the castle and thought of Alainora.

Want to here what comes next? Then come back tomorrow to hear the second book Searching For Dragons!
P.S. Nothing much happened in the last few pages.

bickering in Kazul's kingdom

Hello! How are you doing? I'm fine! I read from page 199 to page 205. How exiting!

We left off at Kazul being queen. Here we go! Kazul asked why they were here in trouble. Cimorene answered saying Woraug was cheating, talking with wizards, and all most ate the stone prince. Woraug told her another story ( It's a long story). Kazul wanted to now the whole story of hers. So Cimorene told some, the stone prince told some, and Alainora told the ending part. Woraug disagreed again. Kazul knew they were right she just wanted to see what Woraug would do. Suddenly Woraug started to shrink! He shrank 'til he was a frog. Alainora told Kazul that six other wizards are going to the blueberry bush by the riverbank. Kazul demanded one of her servants to go tell five other dragons to go graud the brush. After a few minutes later, they came back and said that they chased five away but the other one those two ate.Kazul said good enough. Woraug started to breathe fire at Alainora for tell the Queen that but the stone prince jumped in front of her. The stone prince demanded him to stop or he will step on him. Woraug got scared and hopped away. Morwen ( the witch ) said that since Alainora doesn't have a dragon anymore, she should be reused by the stone prince. They both said yes and I don't know what happened next with them.

Suprise, Suprise!

Hello! Are you there? Well if you are then here are the pages i read from... 190 to 198. Now do you want to hear my 'What I read thing'? Of course you do.

Morwen asked Cimorene what is this tiny black pebble. Cimorene answered "I found it in The Caves Of Fire And Night. So Morwen went over to Cimorene, toke the pebble, and through it in the sparking greenish, yellowish part of the pond. Alainora jumped back because the sparks started to jump higher. A fire awhile, they all looked up and saw... Woraug dropping the Colin's stone. The spelled was broken! All of a sudden something started to fly toward them! Morwen called out DUCK!!! Alainora, the stone prince, and Cimorene all looked up to see Woraug stopping right in front of them. Suddenly he started to breathe fire at them. (Alainora and Cimorene still had that fire proofing spell on. The stone prince is just stone so he did not get hurt.) Another dragon came down right when Woraug spit the prince out . (The stone prince had a chip in his stone shirt.) the other dragon toke them to the new king. Cimorene was SURPRISED to see Kazul as the new king! I was too!
Want to hear what happens to Cimorene, Alainora, the stone prince, and Woraug? Then come back tomorrow! BYE!
