The Meeting

Good morning! I hope you are ready for an exciting update! I read pages 69-74. Cimmeron tells Mendanbar that she doesn't know where Kazul was. Mendanbar explained that he needed to know where she went and what she was doing, telling her that it was important. Cimmeron decides to tell him, and shares that Kazul went to visit her grandchildren on the northern part of the mountain. Mendanbar started to say something, but then said, "Grandchildren?" because he was surprised to find out that the King had grandchildren. Cimmeron tells him that she was surprised when she found out as well. She explains that Kazul usually only stays away for a couple of days and that she usually sent word back to her, but that she had not this trip. She also tells him that Kazul had told her that she was also going to stop by the Enchanted Forest. She thinks for a moment and added that Kazul had only been gone for a day, so she would not be in the Enchanted Forest yet. Mendanbar asks Cimmeron if Kazul was going there to see him. Cimero tells him that she was not, that she was actually going there to check out the patch of Dragon Bane. Mendanbar suddenly said, "So that's what happened!" Cimmeron askes him to explain, and he tells her that when he was walking he found a patch that had looked like it had been burned. He also tells her that there were 5 dragon scales there, and Morwren had asked him to find out whose they were. Cimmeron said to take out the scales, and he did. Cimeron studied them for a minute and then told him that she knew whose they were, but added that he could not find him. Mendanbar asked why, and Cimero explained that the owner had turned into a frog because he was not acting like a dragon. Then she said that (and this part's funny) she thought he had been eaten by a snake! (See? isn't that funny?) Cimmeron then tells him that they should go out looking for the king~ Well, that's it for today! Be sure to come back tomorrow to find out if they go out on a journey together!
